Ideally, you would not have closed your project or let it automatically close if you were still working on it.
Tip: The best way to not have to reopen a project, if you get an automated email warning you that your project is going to be closed for lack of activity, please log in and post a message to the Chat or change the Status of the project so that the system knows it is still active.
To get a closed project reopened, you must contact support and provide the following:
- Project Name
- Project URL (the web address for your project, copy it from your browser)
- Why does your project need to be re-opened?
Note: You must be a project owner to request your project or bid to be reopened.
Additional context on automatic closing of projects
Depending on your platforms global settings, your projects and bids may be set to automatically close if there is no activity for more than 60 days, or a duration that your company has specified. For compliance reasons, it is important that Projects and Bids make it to their end stage of being marked Closed so that the retention period can be calculated and tracked for compliance and audit purposes.
