Note: Only Tenant Admins can add new users for a tenant.
What is a Tenant? A tenant is the Customer Organization paying SpotSource to run the private platform. So, if you worked for XYZ Company and that company was running their agency marketplace or R&D hub on SpotSource, then XYZ Company is the Tenant and you would be a Tenant User of that platform.
- Click the “Admin” tab on the left side of your screen.
- Click "Add [Company Name] User"
- Fill out the required fields* on the Add User form being sure to assign the appropriate user role. Typical roles are:
- Third Party Users: These users are typically contractors or cost consultants and have additional limits, if they exist for your platform instance. Please review your specific documentation for detailed permissions.
- Normal Users: Cannot edit or invite agencies or users and cannot see reports.
- Managers: Have Normal User permissions and can see reports.
- Manager Plus: Have Manager User permissions and can also add/edit suppliers.
- Admins: Have Manager Plus permissions and can add/edit agencies and users.
- Click the “Add User” button at the bottom of the form.
- New User Profile is displayed.
- Press the “Invite” button to ensure the user is invited to the platform.
